Comet Lovejoy 2014Q2: January 2015
This was another nice little comet that made quite a show in the winter of 2015. I happened to be in Florida at the time and took some nice photographs of the comet through my 6-inch reflector. This stack of six sixty-second exposures was shot at ISO6400 on January 19th. The ion tail displayed some very interesting structure.
