March 21, 2025: A surprise aurora
I was at our local dark sky site in the spring to do some imaging. As the night progressed, I looked towards the north and thought I saw a reddish glow above the tree line. I had not brought my cameras for recording aurora but I did have my I Phone 15 pro max. I was able to record the aurora pretty well with it. It peaked and then faded out after about ten minutes.
