November 8, 2004: An aurora movie
In 2004, I received a Nikon D70 from my wife as a gift. I soon realized the camera was great for photographing stars and if one kept the camera pointed towards the same area of the sky, one could create a movie. I woke up one morning to see an aurora in progress in the northern sky. This animated GIF shows the aurora in action to the north.
