M31 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation of Andromeda and is a member of the local group of galaxies. Its size makes it a wonderful target for amateur astronomers and I have imaged it multiple times using multiple instruments. There are two companion galaxies associated with it. M32 is the smaller, but brighter, of the two, which is below the core in these images. M110 (NGC 205) is above the galaxy and is fainter. These are two of my favorite images.

This was taken with a Modified Canon T6i camera (ISO 800) and a Redcat 51 telescope.

This image is a mosaic of three panels taken with an 8-inch F5 reflector and Sky Watcher Coma corrector with an ASI 2600 MC astro camera (gain 100 -20C).
