Angular size: 22' X 12'

NGC 2403 is a large spiral galaxy that appears to have been overlooked by Charles Messier. It was discovered by William Herschel in 1788.  It is the part of group galaxies that includes M81. Like M33, NGC 2403 contains many HII star forming regions.
