Magnitude: M65 = 9.3 M66= 8.9 NGC 3628 = 9.5 Angular size: M65 = 8.7' X 2.5' M66 = 9.1' X 4.2' NGC 3628 = 14' X 3.6' The Leo triplet is another celestial showpiece that astrophotographers often photographed. All three galaxies are related to each other. Only one is above the 10' limit but all three make for a fine grouping that makes them worthy of my list.
