AP#41 : M65, M66, and NGC 3628
Name: The Leo Triplet, NGC 3628 is sometimes called "The Hamburger galaxy" or "Sarah's galaxy".
Constellation:Leo
Instrument: 8-inch F5 reflector with sky watcher coma corrector and modified Nikon D3300.
Exposure time: A stack of 9 five-minute exposures at ISO 800.

Magnitude: M65 = 9.3 M66= 8.9 NGC 3628 = 9.5
Angular size: M65 = 8.7' X 2.5' M66 = 9.1' X 4.2' NGC 3628 = 14' X 3.6'
The Leo triplet is another celestial showpiece that astrophotographers often photographed. All three galaxies are related to each other. Only one is above the 10' limit but all three make for a fine grouping that makes them worthy of my list.
