	Magnitude: 8.5 Angular size: 10.7' X 5.1' M64 is a spiral galaxy with a very prominent band of dark dust near the nucleus, which gives it its name. Even if it was not greater than 10', it would deserve to be on the list. Go to AP#57 Abell 1656 Return to AP100 main page.
