Angular size: 20' X 12' This object is a large emission nebula in the constellation of ARA below Scorpio's tale. The shape can be construed to be two dragons fighting or a bird of some kind. Like NGC 4945 (AP58), it is very low on the horizon and is best imaged from latitudes at 30 degrees or lower. This image was taken from Chiefland, Florida.
