Angular size: 50' X 40' This object is a large emission nebula that sort of looks like a lobster. It is sometimes referred to as "the war and peace nebula" because, in infrared, it looks like a dove and a skull. Like NGC 6334 (AP74) it is better to image this one at latitudes below 35 degrees.
