Instrument: 8-inch F5 reflector with Sky watcher coma corrector and an ASI 2600MC (gain 100 -20C).
Exposure time: A stack of 39 three-minute exposures.

Angular size: 70'x50'
This is object is an open cluster and emission nebula. The "Eagle" shape is created by the feature in the nebulosity near the cluster. It is also the same object that was photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope and identified as "the pillars of creation".
This image compares the central "pillars of creation" dust clouds from the full size image to that taken by the HST in the 1990s.
