Name: The "Eagle" Nebula.

Instrument:8-inch F5 reflector with Sky Watcher coma corrector and a modified Nikon D3300.

Exposure time: A stack of 16 five-minute exposures at ISO 800.

Magnitude: 6.4

Angular size: 70'x50'

This is object is an open cluster and emission nebula. The "Eagle" shape is created by the feature in the nebulosity near the cluster. It is also the same object that was photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope and identified as "the pillars of creation".
