Name:The "Eastern Veil" nebula

Constellation:Cygnus

Instrument:8-inch F5 reflector with Sky Watcher coma corrector and an ASI 2600 MC (gain 100 -20c).

Exposure time: A stack of 17 five-minute and 14 three-minute exposures.

Magnitude: 7.0

Apparent size: 58' X 57'

This object is the eastern section of the veil nebula. It is highlighted by various colors and strands of nebulosity that make it a wonderful target for astrophotographers. My observations of the object in a large telescope reminds me of fingers that were stuck in cotton candy.
