Exposure time: 17 three-minute exposures.

This object is an open cluster that is surrounded by an emission nebula. The nebula is very difficult to see visually but records well in photographs. The name comes from its appearance being the shape of a wizard casting a spell. It takes some imagination. The point of the wizards hat is at the upper left and wizard is reclining. The hand casting the spell is faint dark nebula below the bright star near the center.
