Name: The "jellyfish" nebula

Constellation:Gemini

Instrument: 8-inch F5 reflector with a sky watcher coma corrector and an ASI 2600 MC (gain 100 -20c)

Exposure time:A stack of 16 five-minute and 9 three-minute exposures.

Angular size: 50'

This nebula is a super nova remnant, which was created 30-35,000 years ago. Some estimates have it happening earlier.  Its shape is similar to that of a jellyfish, which is why it gets its name. The nearby star, Eta Geminorum makes locating this target easy.
