Magnitude: 11.5 Angular size: 8' NGC 2359 is an emission nebula in Canis Major that has a shape that makes it look like a pointed helmet with side wings. Others see it as a duck. Despite its small size, I chose to put it on the list because of its unique shape and it is a frequent target for astrophotographers.
