Name: The "Prawn nebula"

Constellation:Scorpio

Instrument:8-inch F5 reflector with Sky Watcher coma corrector and ASI 2600 MC (gain 100 -20C).

Exposure time: A stack of 11 five-minute and 4 three-minute exposures.

Magnitude: 7.3

Angular size: 90'

This object is a large emission nebula above Zeta Scorpii. The shape is something similar to "prawn" or "shrimp". It is a difficult target for northern latitudes since it is low on the horizon.
