Name: The "Ink Spot" Nebula.

Constellation:Sagittarius

Instrument:8-inch F5 reflector with Sky Watcher coma corrector and ASI 2600 MC (gain 100 -20C).

Exposure time: A stack of 22 two-minute exposures.

Magnitude: 7.6

Angular size: 6' (NGC 6520) 5' (B86)

These two objects are less than the 10' limit but the dark nebula and open cluster encompass and area over 10' and are a celestial showpiece. The "Ink spot" is a spectacular object silhoutted by the milky way behind it.
