Name: The "Catcher's Mitt" Nebula.

Constellation:Sagittarius

Instrument:8-inch F5 reflector with Sky Watcher coma corrector and ASI 2600 MC (gain 100 -20C).

Exposure time: A stack of 16 five-minute and 9 three-minute exposures.

Angular size: 35 X 35'

This is an overlooked emission nebula complex to the east of the Lagoon Nebula (AP 79). It is a cluster of stars nestled in a field with various emission and dark nebulae that make it a superb imaging target.
